About Us

Laser Surveys was established in 1975 by Mark Walker to provide setting-out services to the construction industry.

Laser measuring instruments and survey technologies have changed considerably in the last 34 years and fashion has gone 'full-circle'!

Today we have offices in Worcester and in Hornchurch, Essex and we aim to provide the most comprehensive range of site survey services to cover the UK and beyond.

For your project initial site/tender feasibility stage we supply Ordnance Survey mapping, BlomURBEX oblique aerial imagery, height data, environmental reports, historical aerial photographs/maps and utility stats searches at www.centremapslive.com.

For your projects at outline and detailed planning stage and your projects awarded with planning approval we provide the complete service of topographical surveys, floor plans, elevations and sections, underground services surveys, ground penetrating radar surveys, drainage connectivity and CCTV drainage condition surveys, GPS surveys, re-bar surveys, precise level monitoring and verified photographs.

All of our services are carried out in-house by our experienced and qualified staff. This enables us to turn quotations straight round, keep to your project timescales and control quality.

Health and Safety

Health and Safety is paramount at Laser Surveys and we work with Citation plc as our Consultants. They provide, and continually update, our Health and Safety documentation and systems of work. All of our surveyors hold Confined Space Certificates, CSCS Cards and have completed safety courses in Chapter 8 Traffic Management, First Aid and Manual Handling.

We are members of The Survey Association http://www.tsa-uk.org.uk/ and The National Sewerage Association http://www.sewerage.org/.
They are our regulatory bodies and are there to protect you, the customer, and make sure we, the members, provide the quality service that you would expect.

RICS Specification

The RICS Specification for 'Surveys of Land, Building and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger' is the standard we work to. We are here to advise you on your survey requirements and have produced a survey 'checklist' for download to help.
